It was written by Jean-Jacques Goldman and produced by Goldman and Erick Benzi. The song was released as the album's third single on 1 March 1999. "On ne change pas" topped the chart in Quebec for six weeks. Elsewhere, it peaked at numbers 11 in Poland, 16 in Belgium Wallonia and 17 in France.
